 Lip Service .. the beginning. This is the British take on shows like the L word. It stars a lesbian based group of women living life in Glasgow, Scotland. It doesn't start from the beginning of these women meeting, but after the three main characters have met, loved and lost touch. It starts with Frankie, who we follow back to Glasgow and slowly discover how these women are linked.

Lip Service is back!! This is the British take on shows like the L word. It stars a lesbian based group of women living life in Glasgow, Scotland. The show dives in at the deep end picking up where it left off.. some relationships going smoothly, others not so much. There are some new cast in this season including 'Lexy' (played by Anna Skellern) who this lady hopes, tries to help us all forget about the gorgeous Roxanne Mckee.

Summery;- It tells the story of a group of New York 20-somethings. Bridget is a hip, womanizing lesbian who loves Emily Bronte, and who lives with her guy pal Trip. One night, they meet straight-laced New York newbies Greg and Molly at their favorite hangout, The Four-Faced Liar. Molly is a bit appalled by free spirited Bridget, but she’s also attracted to her, and in time, the friends lives are hilariously complicated when the two women fall in love.

Personal Taste;-  I love this film. Its a film that isn't a one off see. Its easy to watch, full of comedy, love and also heartache. I've seen it 5 times so far, and know that the number will keep rising.

Water Lilies

 Water Lilies sees female adolescence as an uncomfortable, embarrassing phase full of painful self-consciousness and frustrated desire.

Summery; Three girls, each about 15, deal with puberty, the onset of sexual attraction, and, for two, the pressure of virginity. Each of the three experiences her own first, and one girl must come to terms with what is attraction from friendship.

A well made foreign film of discovery and friendship.

Personal Preference;-  I feel this is a one watch kind of movie. Once you've watched it, you know what its about so don't feel like you have to watch it to see what your missing out on, but instead realise you really wouldn't have been that bothered if you never got to watch it. 

Fingersmith

Summery;- It tells the story of two young women who fall in love whilst they plot a share into old man, Mr Lilly's fortune. Susan Trinder, a plucky, rough tough orphan lives the life of a pick pocket, until she places as a maid and begins to corrupt her seemingly naive, wealthy heiress Maud Lilly. However all does not go as smoothly as first expected leading to shocking revelations.

This is one of my favourite films. Its not just for lesbians. But for anyone that loves romance movies. It truly touches the soul.

Personal Preference;-  To me this may be the best lesbian film ever made (well short series). I love it!! The characters, the setting, the twisted plot, brilliance by the author Sarah Walters that originally wrote the book if you ask me.

Summery;- This is a sexy spy spoof following an elite team of college super spies. The top team of young women are put hot on the case of Lucy Diamond, a mastermind of evil (and sex on legs). No spy has ever met her and survived to tell the tale, no spy except the girl with the perfect score Amy Bradshaw. Instantly Lucy is drawn to the uniformed heroine and begins to do whatever she can to see her, including kidnap.  


Review;-  An easy watch chick flick comedy.
                 Full of laughs, not to be taken seriously as a thriller.

                 2 beautiful leading ladies.
                 A happy movie.
                 The female lead is to die for - seriously, she would make any women fall head over heals for her.                  Definitely a film to lighten your mood.

Hollyoaks - Tilly & Jen

A new relationship has just begun in the Hollyoaks village between sixth former Tilly and new student teacher Jen.

Although they have so far only known each other 2 days there is already a strong connection between them. Jen is unaware that Tilly is not in uni like she said, but Tilly having found Jen is a new teacher at school, and lodging with her friends family is even more infatuated with the older women.

Recap; FIRE!!!! so there was a fire at school, Tilly was trapped, survived but Jen found out she was her student. Jen then look her to the hospital where it was awkwardddd. but the two ladies still ended up flirting. So there is definitely something there even though Jen says she wont allow her feelings out... lier.

Recap; (JULY '12) - so the relationship has been on hold for a while, with the show focusing on other things, but Tilly and Jen is definitely back on. Now the school holidays the 2 are persuing a secret relationship without complications until Jen's friend/land lady and the mother of Tilly's friend finds out and tries to put a stop to it. Will these two loved up ladies give up or continue in secret?

My Summer of Love

Summery;-  A tale of obsession and deception, and the struggle for love and faith in a world where both seem impossible. Emily Blunt is sublime as a mysterious teen who seems to be keeping secrets hidden even from who she thinks she is. 

Overall;- This is a story of love that penetrates deep through the mask of someone into their very soul.

You and I (Finding Tatu)

Comedy, Romance, Thriller all thrown in the mix, a good all round film. 

Summery;-  Two teenage girls, one American, Janie and one Russian, Lana bond over their mutual love for their favourite band, Tatu. After deciding to meet up and go to a Tatu concert together, the girls lives are changed forever as they are swept into a dangerous world of obsession, drug abuse and murder.

Review;- If your a Tatu fan you'll love it!

                Has a great soundtrack of songs throughout the film

                Goes off track a little it, but stick with it, it soon regains strength (e.g. wtf with the boat scene)

                The ending of this film is ruined by the adding of a stupid clip, NOT!! needed (..the money clip)

So far;-  the relationship is just beginning.
Recap;- Seems like the relationship is over before it even began. There was a look, kiss and a really short relationship (if you can even count it as that).
