Summery;- Naomi, the brilliant and pious daughter of an ultra orthodox rabbi finds herself at a crossroads of life choices when her mother dies and she is expected to immediately marry her father’s prodigy. Distressed yet determined, she begs that her father allow her one year to study at a women’s religious seminary in Safed, the birthplace of the Kabala in order to prepare herself for the sacrifices she will make as a wife. Her father relents and Naomi’s life begins to take an unexpected turn.Devout but lively, Naomi and her new friend Michelle befriend a beautiful, mysterious older woman, Anouk, (Fanny Ardant) who is ill and living nearby who may or may not be Jewish, and may have committed a crime of passion. Naomi devises a series of rituals which will somehow “purify” Anouk and purge her of her sins, but as these stretch the borders of Jewish law they must be kept secret. Eventually this journey into the forbidden leads to a growing attraction between the two girls and more crossroads are faced. Nina's Heavenly Delights

Summery;-  The last time Nina saw her family was 3 years ago before she ran away to London to avoid an arranged marriage and to seek her dream of becoming a professional chef. After returning to the news that her father has had a heart attack, it is revealed that he created a large gambling debt and bet his family restaurant trying to save it. Co-owner Lisa is set to sell until she is persuaded by Nina that if they work together they can save her family name - by entering in a TV curry competition.

Two Cultures, Two Traditions, One Love

Summery;- The film centers in London and two women who fall in love from their first encounter. One of the leading ladies 'Tala' is from Jordan and from the outset is a confident attractive women, whose personality exudes friendship and kindness, immediately attracting you to get to know more about her curious past.

Both are in committed relationships but both have never felt true love. Tala is now engaged to her 4th fiance, with the wedding only weeks away she meets the young, beautiful writer Leyla - girlfriend to her close friend back in london.

Although they come from different worlds, the attraction between Tala and Leyla is immediate and Tala must decide whether to stay true to her culture or to her heart.

Beautiful connection between the two lovers.

Shows if you truly love someone you will do anything to be with them no matter what.

No one knows if they’ll be with the same person for ever, but they know it in that moment they want to be.

Summery;- Rachel cant wait to be married, shes found her best friend and soul mate in one, or so she believes. As at her wedding a love a first sight encounter with a women changes her whole outlook on love. The pair begin to spend all their time together and as their friendship slowly develops further, she is forced to choose between her husband and the girl of her dreams.

I adore this movie. It is one of those great lesbian films that must be seen by everyone, gay or straight. The chemistry between the lead characters is beautiful. 


Its not a film about the physical connection, but is even more powerful for showing the passion between the lovers.
